Frank's Place was founded by Frank and Marta LaLonde, who are the parents of 5 children, a son and 4 daughters who have worked in the business (the girls) at one time or another, daughter Dawn Bumstead is presently their general manager and together they have worked in the restaurant industry for many years. They opened this restaurant in order to serve the community with delicious food, great service, and affordable prices. The LaLonde's daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Bill Wilkins, purchased Frank and Marta's second location(Frank and Jim's) in Kinross in 2001 and continue the proud heritage established by the family.
